Lindsay has worked for the BBC for more than 30 years, in a variety of engineering, editorial and leadership roles spanning radio, tv, spectrum regulation and internet. He has considerable experience of leading collaborative projects through his roles as Chairman of CEPT FM51, dealing with spectrum issues for programme making, and as Chairman of the WorldDAB and DRM Technical Committees, managing the stability and development of the respective standards. Lindsay contributes his expertise to strategic and policy issues for broadcasters in the ever-changing technological environment through his activities with EBU, ABU, ASBU and WBU. He brings a rare combination of scientific understanding, technical experience, project management and people skills to bear upon all his responsibilities.
