Where bright minds gather and engage in fruitful endeavors.
The broadcasting and media world is stepping into a new chapter — one shaped by the rise of synthetic intelligence and creative technologies. From AI-generated visuals and hyperreal soundscapes to virtual presenters and automated storytelling, synthetic media is redefining how we create, deliver, and experience content. Now we are asking an important question — how can we embrace these technologies while staying authentic, creative, and worthy of our audience’s trust? DBS 2026 will explore how this “synthetic rise” is reshaping every part of broadcasting.
The symposium is held each year in Kuala Lumpur. It consists of a conference, an exhibition, masterclasses and workshops, and attracts close to 1,500 participants annually, representing over 350 organisations across the region and beyond.
