Hafiz is the Deputy Director at the Broadcasting Development Department, Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), with over 14 years of experience in the broadcasting industry. He is actively involved in advancing future broadcasting technologies, including shaping the development pathway for 5G Broadcast and exploring emerging technologies such as AI and 5G New Radio. He focuses on technical assessment, industry collaboration, and ecosystem readiness. His work includes leading technology test-beds and stakeholder engagements, as well as supporting policy and regulatory development to enable a forward-looking broadcasting ecosystem in Malaysia and the region.
