Hayao ARAKI joined NHK in 2020. After working at the Tsu and Nagoya Stations, he joined STRL (Science & Technology Research Laboratories) and has been engaged in R&D on the transmission system for DTTB since 2024. He currently serves as a research engineer in the Advanced Transmission Systems Research Division at STRL. His work focuses on physical-layer technologies, including modulation and channel coding, and approaches to improve transmission efficiency for future terrestrial broadcasting systems.
