Zahedeh Farshad received her Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology in Tehran, Iran. She has been working as a technical researcher at IRIB R&D department for 15 years. Since 2017 she has appointed the Standards Adoption manager in the IRIB Research & Development, responsible for applying media technology innovations across different components of broadcast value chain including production, distribution and reception. Her research interests span developing wireless communication solutions as well as innovative and interactive services in media industry.
