Michael McEwen is a consultant to Media organizations and is a recently a retired Director-General of the North American Broadcasters Association (NABA) and Head of Secretariat for the World Broadcasting Unions (WBU). Mr. McEwen is past President of Canadian Digital Television (CDTV) from 1998 to 2006, an industry group who managed the transition from analogue to digital High-Definition Television in Canada. He was also President of the World Digital Audio Broadcast (DAB) Forum from 1998 to 2002. In addition, McEwen spent over 27 years with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC/Radio-Canada) including production and executive management roles.
