Terence Yiu has over two decades of experience in the broadcast industry. He earned his BEng in Electronic Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology in 1994 and an MSc in Electronic Engineering with Distinction from the City University of Hong Kong in 2000. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Phoenix Satellite Television Co. Ltd., Terence is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) in the UK and a Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (MHKIE). He has also contributed to the industry as a Bureau Member of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) Technical Committee and as a past Chair of the SMPTE Hong Kong Section.
